I just had my heat pump and new furnace installed by A3. What a fabulous business to work with! Danny was so helpful and explained the benefits of a ducted installation. He spent time with the president of my strata explaining that the current requirements for installation in the strata rules, were obsolete. The strata updated the requirements which will benefit everyone else in the strata. All of the workers who installed the system were so respectful, polite and thorough. Thanks to everyone at A-3!

Jason and helper(can't remember his name) showed up promptly and got right to work. They persevered and snaked out my septic drain and got it unplugged! Great senses of humour and know their stuff! Very professional and got it done quickly! Very satisfied with this company. Thank you so much! Would definitely recommend!!

A-3 helped us immensely with our new family home. We had extensive work that needed to be done to remove galvanized piping and Jason came in and fixed it up perfectly. Jason also communicated with the excavators and the city so it all ran seamlessly. Not only that, he was able to save us money and noticed another issue that we hadn't seen before. The entire company has been amazing to us before, and has continued to help us. 10 out of 10 and special thanks to Jason!

Just had our rental place serviced by Jason from A3. He was awesome and quickly completed the installations of new wax seals and resetting the toilets. Unlike whoever trying to fix them previously, he properly shimmed then and caulked the transition. When more items popped up to fix, we were the first he called when a cancellation occurred, arriving early and replacing the kitchen sink shutoff lines and baskets. Thanks for everything Jason!

We’ve been using Jason at A3 Plumbing for over 10 years, and we honestly can’t recommend him enough! Whether it’s for our business or our home, Jason has been our go-to plumber for every job, big or small. He is incredibly reliable, always shows up when he says he will, and delivers nothing but top-quality work. Over the years, we’ve had everything from routine maintenance to emergency repairs and complex plumbing installations, and Jason has handled it all with professionalism and skill. It’s rare to find someone who not only takes pride in their work but also genuinely cares about their customers. Jason is that person. We trust him completely and wouldn’t call anyone else. A3 Plumbing is honest, dependable, and absolutely top-notch. If you’re looking for a plumber you can count on for the long haul, Jason at A3 Plumbing is it. Five stars isn’t enough!

I called A3 plumbing on the recommendation of 2 people who have used their services. I was not disappointed. Both Jo, the Office Manager, and Holger the plumber were excellent to deal with. The service was prompt, efficient and personable. The difficult shower leak problem was fixed with a high degree of ingenuity and professional skill. Highly recommended.

I own an 1898 heritage home in Nelson and A3 has been taking excellent care of my plumbing and heating since 1997. This year it was time for a major mechanical upgrade. David (owner) and Danny provided me with several solution options, and helped me understand what was the best choice for my home. I decided to go with a combo-boiler for space (radiators) and water heating; and a multi-head heat pump; primarily for cooling. Jack designed and built the combi boiler system. He was both a systems architect and master in action; and he created a system that is both highly efficient and looks amazing! Thanks also to Jason for his thoughtful piping and friendly nature. The heat pump system was engineered by Nick who did a great job figuring out how to make the external fortressing fit with the character of the house. His team did a great job of the install and I appreciated Kim's attention to detail throughout the process. Great company, very experienced team and a pleasure to have working on my home. This was a major upgrade to my heritage house, that required thoughtful design and deep expertise to bring the concept to reality - a great company and an excellent team that I trust wholeheartedly with my home. Thanks A3!

A-3 is the best mechanical contractor in the Kootenays. We had a complicated build — hydronic heating, heat pumps, full plumbing with technical challenges — and their team approached every integration challenge like a puzzle worth solving rather than a problem worth avoiding. That attitude never wavered, even when things got genuinely complex. You could feel the difference between a crew that knows their trade deeply and one that's just getting through the job. A-3 is the former. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend them.
